Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha called Premier Edi Rama “a loser that is surrounded by criminals” in a meeting with residents of Pogradec, east of the country. The opposition chief accused Rama as a man that is linked to bandits and criminals and invests on the ignorance.
“Edi Rama’s example to youth, are you a trafficker? You may become a Member of the Parliament. Edi Rama is surrounded by criminals. The losers are afraid of success, of the successful people. It’s not a coincidence that Rama has surrounded himself with criminals, uneducated people, millionaires with only four years of school”, Basha said in Pogradec.
“The reason is simple, he is afraid of the educated, skillful, talented people. That’s why he has destroyed the school system, the ignorance serves him”.
The Democrat leader said it’s easier to rule a people of ignorant and that’s why Edi Rama invests on ignorance and ignorant people. “He wants to keep the youth in ignorance, but he won’t make it”.
Basha also repeated his declarations that the elections will not happen with a corrupt government and Rama’s removal is the only way for the opposition to participate, saying the Europe’s doors will be closed to Albania as long as the votes are bought or stolen: “There is no (integration in) Europe without free elections”.
