Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha has introduced the economic program that he will implement once his party comes to power, promising reduction of taxes that enable creating new jobs. The opposition chief said the employment will be the absolute priority for his government.

“We must return Albania in the most attractive place for foreign investments. The potential is here. We must end corruption and train professionals of all fields”, Basha said today in a meeting with Democrat youth in Lezhë.

The Democrat chairman also said vision only is not enough to reach the goals as strong will is needed to take the budget away from 4-5 oligarchs and employ thousands of students that work in the worst conditions.

“The abuse bill of this government is €1.7 billion for last year only. The only ones that should be afraid of the PD and opposition coming to power must be those 4-5 oligarchs from which we’ll take away the money to give it to the students, to the Albanian youth. I know they are afraid and I’m telling them they should, because this will be done, with the help of God and with the union of Albanians”.
