The Democratic Party (PD) and its allies of the United Opposition introduced today the Platform for Free and Fair Elections as the main task of the transitional government they have proposed as a solution to the politic crisis. The opposition is determined not to enter the municipal and mayoral elections of June 30 with Edi Rama as Prime Minister and demands a transitional cabinet as a guarantee for fair elections.

The Platform reveals 10 tasks to guarantee free and fair elections, starting from the zero tolerance for the politic and criminal structures involved in the votes’ buyout to the prevention of government pressure on justice and separation of police from crime.
