The prominent activist of the civil society Zirkon Disha has found an original way to celebrate the Earth Day in Tirana today. Disha has “planted” a miniature tower in the Scanderbeg Square in the Albanian capital in a symbolic gesture about what happens today in the municipality led by Mayor Erion Veliaj.

Disha has protested against the construct of concrete towers in free spaces that should have been at the citizens’ disposal as gardens and recreation sites.

“Public Property, plunging towers” and “Earth Day, we plant towers”, Disha had written in two banners on his miniature tower.
