Former Premier Sali Berisha expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the thousands of protesters and also to the international media that reported on the big rally of the Albanian opposition, conveying its images to the whole world.
"Dear friends, BBC, CNN, Fox News, EuroNews, New York Times, Washington Post, Reuters, VOA and other international media outlets in the whole world that reported live on the extraordinary tsunami of the Albanian opposition declared Tirana as the capital city of the Balkans”, Berisha wrote on his Facebook page.
“Huge honor to hundreds of thousands of protester that spread the powerful voice of the Albanian opposition worldwide! We are grateful to the international media all over the globe for the support of the just cause of the rebelled Albanians”.
