Former Premier Sali Berisha made some heavy accusations today regarding yesterday’s armed robbery of €8 million in Tirana’s International Airport. Four masked persons attacked the private security guards near the airplane of Austrian Airlines and took away seven bags with banknotes, while the State Police opened fire and killed one of the robbers.
Berisha said today the robbery was a repeated and authentic state and electoral robbery with the collusion of government mobsters, state segments tasked with the security and banks officials.
The former Prime Minister said Albania is currently the most insecure place on planet. Berisha also referred to the foreign media that called the incident pictures as usual in Albania.
