Albanian Premier Edi Rama has not had the courage so far to speak about the latest report of the US Department of State on the criminality in the country, leaving instead Foreign Minister Gent Cakaj to show up before the media.

In efforts to sugarcoat the report, Rama’s “genial minister” only made himself ridiculous by articulating senseless sophisms.

“The Ministry of the Foreign Affairs, despite being the representative of the country’s domestic affairs cannot separate itself from the responsibility for the domestic accountability about the foreign accountability”, Cakaj said, clearly confused while the audience started to laugh with the minister’s hallucinations.

When finally speaking about the report, Cakaj raised eyebrows with declarations that DOS conclusions were achievements of Rama’s government.

“We have increased the international cooperation, the report highlights the fact that the country has achieved essential results in the fight against narcotics and organized crime because of the efforts to join EU”, Cakaj said. “The report affirms a positive moment for Albania considering the first results of the Judiciary Reform”.
