Kosovo Premier Ramush Haradinaj has dismissed today the vice minister of Justice Vesna Mikic for declaring NATO committed genocide against the Serbian people during the Kosovo war in 1999. The North Atlantic Alliance raided Serbia of President Slobodan Milosevic to stop the ethnic cleansing in the Albanian province, which lead to the independence in 2008.

Mikic’s declaration was criticized by the opinion and the media, while the Premier Minister reacted today with her dismissal.

“There is no place in the government and institutions of Kosovo for individuals, irrelevant of their ethnicity, which denigrate the common Euro-Atlantic values, furthermore considering that the State of Kosovo was born precisely thanks to these values”, Haradinaj said in a statement

“The declarations of the vice minister of Justice Vesna Mikic that NATO-s raids were genocide against the Serbian state and people are unacceptable and hate speech that goes against the law and the Constitution. Therefore, I have released the vice minister Mikic from here duty”.
