Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha missed the today’s protest in Tirana as he is participating in the meeting of the European People’s Party (EPP) in Brussels.

Basha tweeted the Democratic Party has the support of EPP in its battle for democracy in Albania.

“EPP President Joseph Daul, in behalf of everybody, said clearly we won’t make any compromise on the back of democracy, rule of law and media freedom. The Democratic Party fights for the same European values in Albania and our battle has the support of EPP, our political family”, the Democrat leader tweeted from Brussels after the protest in Tirana.
