Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha responded to the declarations made today by the US Embassy and the EU Delegation to Tirana, concerning the opposition’s protest tomorrow.

Basha’s response came after he was asked for a comment by media reporters.

“I never comment the declarations made by the embassies, but since you’re asking I’d have a suggestion”, the Democrat chief said.

“I would not ask them to stand by the side of any person or political party in Albania, I would ask them to stand by the side of the values their own countries stand by, the values of democracy, free and fair elections, fight against corruption, organized crimes and drugs, fight against votes buyout. These are the same problems declared clearly in the latest US State Department Report”.
