Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha said today the new members of the parliament are like living stock, being bought and sold by the Socialist majority. The opposition deputies relinquished their mandates last months but they were replaced in the parliament by the candidates in the electoral lists for the elections of 2017.
Basha called the act as shameful, adding the deputies are being treated just like farm animals.
“Could there be a biggest shame than treating the deputies like farm animals?”, Basha asked in a meeting with students in Durrës today.
“The students’ protest brought the spring earlier and anticipated the national awakening and unification of Albanians that now have made up their minds. Criminals will no longer be masters at the Albanians’ houses, the Albanians will be. Rama was caught in flagrance stealing votes, while (Mayro of Durrës) Vangjush Dako must be in prison”.
