Albanian journalist Basir Çollaku has reported a threat to his life because of his work denouncing the criminal affairs and drugs traffic.

The threat was made live through a phone call during the morning show on Report TV, one of the televisions under Premier Edi Rama’s control.

The caller warned Çollaku he would better not show again on TV and speak about criminal groups and drug traffic, otherwise “he would take one behind his ear”.

After the threat, Çollaku reported the incident in the police station.
