Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha denounced today the construction of a new power plant in Korça as a new corruptive affair that will not produce energy for the Albanian power system but for the neighboring countries which have refused its construction.

According to the Democrat leader, the power plant will poison Korça’s residents and enrich Premier Edi Rama.

“We have denounced the power plant in Korça as a criminal and corruptive affair, because it will not be constructed for the Albanian power system. The power plan is being built to sell power to Greece. The neighbor cities have refused it and they will build it in Korça”, Basha today during his visit in Korça, near the Greek border.

“This is a criminal government. They are ready to poison their own people in order to make Edi Rama and the oligarchs richer. They are doing the same thing in Tirana, Elbasan, Fier and now in Korça”.
