Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha said his dialogue with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama resulted harmful in the past and not it is the people speaking and finding a solution through anti-government protest.

“The people has spoken and will speak again on March 16”, Basha told media reporters today. “Edi Rama should better listen to the voice of people and open way to the political solution, to untie the justice hands and allow the investigations of dossiers 339 and 184. When every power is seized, the solution is in the people’s hands until we have a government free of crime”.

Asked whether the crisis can be solved without dialogue with Rama, Basha said it is possible, recalling their agreement of 2017 which did not work.

“The dialogue between Mr. Rama and me resulted to be harmful for Albania’s interests for the way how it was misused by a person that is a partner of the organized crime and oligarchs that harm the interests of Albanians, Socialists, and democracy”, Basha said.
