Thousands of citizens have gathered in a protest rally outside the Albanian parliament in response to the secret gathering of deputies in sessions. Only the Socialist majority MPs are present in the session whereas the opposition has relinquished the mandates.

A few minutes later the first incident occurred.

As the protesters were heading towards the parliament, minister of Environment Blendi Klosi walked amidst them in a provocative way, but almost paid for, with the citizens trying to capture him.

Police intervention calmed down the situation.
