Former Democrat MP Oerd Bylykbashi has warned about other developments that will follow the relinquishment of the mandates and will make Premier Edi Rama understand the earlier general elections are the only solution. “His approach is the approach of a trapped fox”, Bylykbashi told Gazeta Shqiptare. “It bites off its own leg and goes away with three. He will sacrifice either (Durrës Mayor) Vangjush Dako, or (former minister of energy) Gjiknuri, or (former minister of finance) Ahmetaj or anyone else”.

Bylykbashi added the Socialist Party will understand the snap election is the only choice and reminded they have done that in the past.

“The Socialist will start to understand this. They used to understand that once. They have changed the Prime Ministers several times in the past, when the Socialist Party was more liberal. They will start to understand the snap election is the only way out of the politic crisis Edi Rama put the country”.
