Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha said Albania has a European future ahead, commenting the today’s rally when thousands of citizens protested outside the parliament and later accompanied the opposition deputies to the parliament main offices where they handed over their parliamentary mandates.

“Our hearts are full of hope and courage that springs from the spirit of a united people”, Basha said.

“Albania will have a European future and that will be your future, your families’, your children’s, the future of the honest people that want to give an end to the impunity”, Basha addressed to the citizens.

“I’d like to tell everyone there is no democracy here, no parliament, no justice. The state  has been caught by the organized crime, the man that comes before you pretending to be the Prime Minister is the Maduro of the Balkans. We will not work with a bandit premier who was caught in flagrance stealing the votes of people in collusion with mobsters, traffickers, organized crime”.
