Leader of the Kosovar party Vetëvendosje Albin Kurti joined public universities students and teachers in Tirana today, showing his support for their protests and demands to the Albanian government. He met the students and teachers of the School of the Social Sciences and encouraged them to continue their resistance.

“Victories in history come from the resistance. The protest of the students is a righteous one when the teachers join them. We in Kosovo have been watching your protests against the privileges the rich have”, Kurti said in the meeting.

He underlined the Albanian society must be subject to a transformation.

“The future of the Albanian society is in doubt. I call on you to have a consolidated organization. The education is not a luxury”.
