The Deputy of Vetëvendosje party in the Kosovo Parliament, Sami Kurteshi, said Albanian Premier Edi Rama is a “jackass and traitor” whereas Rama’s rejected candidate for Foreign Minister Gent Cakaj is “a candidature proposed by the (former secret police of Yugoslavia) UDB spy Baton Haxhiu”.
Kurteshi’s comments added to many reactions from Kosovo that followed Albanian President Ilir Meta’s decision not to decree the Kosovan Caka.
Cakaj’s public stance of supporting a border correction between Kosovo and Serbia has not been welcomed from the politicians and public opinion in Kosovo.
“Edi Rama is not only a jackass but he is also becoming a traitor”, Kurteshi writes.
“The Kosovans in the Government of the Republic of Albania are appointed by the Prime Ministers, despite him being a jackass. It’s the legitimate right of the chief. But when the Kosovan candidates for ministers in the Government of the Republic of Albania are delegated by the criminal and UDB spy Baton Haxhiu – with or without the request of the criminal Hashim Thaçi – and the Prime Minister of Albania appoints them, besides being a jackass he is also a traitor”.
