Police have detained a student that nailed the doors of the faculties and have interrogated him about the relations with former President and Premier Sali Berisha. Dardan Almeta told Syri.net about the interrogation at the police station, saying he was surprised by the political colors the police are trying to paint on his protest as a student like thousand others that are demonstrating for their rights.

Almeta said the police officers that took him in custody were correct “but I cannot say the same thing about their superiors that give political orders for the arrest of a student”.

The student believes his detention is political because he was detained only after Berisha posted a video on his Facebook page.

“It was a video that was posted in every social network or shown on television, it was watched all day, but as once former Premier Berisha posted it on his Facebook page I was arrested. I have no relations to him, I don’t know why I was interrogated about that at the police station”, Almeta said.

Asked the interrogation, Almeta responded the investigators asked him about Berisha.

“They asked me ‘what is your relation to him? Why did Berisha post the video?’ I have no relation to him, I am just a student. They may do their worst, but they won’t find anything”.
