Former Premier Sali Berisha has made a detailed analysis of the official data, arriving in the conclusion there are huge thefts in taxes and customs, while the 11-month debt of the companies has reached $290 million.

Berisha writes Edi Rama’s government is going from failure to failure, with the income of the 11 months $126 million lower than planned, out of which $67 million are from VAT and $47 million are from the excise, being 3.9% lower than in 2017.

“The public investments for the 11-month period:

January – November 2018, there is a shortfall of $150 million, equal to 21% lower.

During this period, only 67% of annual investment public funds have been allocated (nearly $570 million have been spent out of $860 million of annual budget).

So, the debt to companies reaches the record figure of $290 million”, Berisha writes.

“The total income for the period January-November 2018 results $126 million lower than the original planning of the government”.
