Albanian Premier Edi Rama has appointed Genti Ibrahimi, a former employee of George Soros, as the man that can appoint and fire prosecutors in Albania, after failing three times to make him a judge in the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

Ibrahimi is jurist that has worked for Soros and has strong links to Rama’s Socialist Party, being the brother-in-law of former minister of defense Mimi Kodheli.

Ibrahimi has been refused three times from Strasbourg as not suitable to be a judge in the EHCR.

However, he seems to be more than suitable for Edi Rama to appoint him at the helm of the prosecution.

Ibrahimi was elected today as the chairman of the High Council of Prosecution, the institution that appoints and fires the prosecutors in the whole Albania.
