Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha told media reporters today his party will support the students’ protest till the end but refused to respond to Premier Edi Rama’s political declarations about the students.
“The Democratic Party and I will support the protest with everything. We are there with our minds and souls”, Basha said.
“Rama is trying to politicize it, but I see it unnecessary to play his political game”, the Democrat leader said, calling Rama to meet the students’ demands.
“There’s no need to play protagonists’ acts and serve to Edi Rama’s filthy propaganda, who has been torturing these young men and women for 13 days. We support the students and will continue to do so with all forms and means”.
