The protests of the Albanian students against the government seem to have inspired many other citizens who have rallied against Premier Rama’s administration.

Farmers and small businessmen have blocked the Lezhë-Shkodër highway in north of the country, requesting Premier Rama’s resignation, wearing yellow vests imitating protesters in France.

Police forces have reached the spot and have asked the protesters to leave and free the highway.

A similar protest is taking place in Kavajë, with citizens protesting against fuel prices.
