Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha said all the officials of the Albanian Roads Authority (ARRSH) that have been involved in the projects of theft in Tirana’s new city ring must be sent before the law, as should be all the government contractors.

Basha made his statement after ARRSH, forced by the publication of facts about the ghost company that was receiving millions from the project, announced the suspension of work for the new ring.

“All the concessions that ARRSH has drafted and contracted for the roads are corruptive acts and no one of the officials involved should be left free. They must be investigated and taken before justice”, Basha said.

“However, Edi Rama is the inventor, planner and main beneficiary of the theft in the city ring and also in other projects, such the concessionary contracts for the roads, the incinerators, check-up and any other massive thefts that is made to Albania”.
