Albanian President Ilir Meta has been watching closely the students’ protest in several cities of the country and has appealed to the government to show responsibility.

“President Meta has appealed to the relevant authorities and institutions to show the necessary sensibility and responsibility in addressing the students’ concerns, in accordance with the legal framework and the spirit of dialogue for a just and quick solution”, the President’s Office said in a statement today.

“We need more efforts for a better education that guarantees equal possibilities for all, despite their financial means”.
