Albanian Premier Edi Rama has proposed the former Democrat Minister of Finances Ridvan Bode for the Monitoring Council of the Bank of Albania. Bode is in a list of three names proposed by Rama to the Parliament, with Suela Popa and Edlira Luçi the other two candidates.
A former MP of the Democratic Party, Bode has been the chief of finances during Sali Berisha’s government.
The Monitoring Council of the Bank of Albania currently is out of function because the mandates of the members have expired.
