Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha commented the latest arrests in Albania, with two former Socialist MPs and other persons in custody, saying this is a part of the file on Durrës Mayor Vangjush Dako.
According to the chief of the Albanian opposition, the arrested are only “small fish” that will be sacrificed to save Dako.
“Dako is the big fish. The others are served as small fish by Rama and (Prosecutor Donika) Prela to rescue the big one”, Basha told media reporters today.
“This is the truth, the reality we have been exposing for two years now, the file Donika Prela has assumed to destroy. The small fish seized last night will be set free. These are segments of the prosecution they offer small fish to the opinion in order to close the case for Dako and four Socialist MPs. Everything is done not to have Dako arrested. Rama, (Interior Minister) Xhafaj and Prela are trying to destroy the investigation for Vangjush Dako’s sake”.
