Every police officer in the stations of Krujë and Fushë Krujë and in the Durrës Police Department knows what former vice commissar Emiljano Nuhu disclosed is true. In a recent interview, Nuhu accused Socialist MPs Taulant Balla and Rrahman Rraja, and Mayor of Krujë Artur Bushi, of going to his office in the police station of Fushë Krujë to release Rrahman Rraja’s son Rexhep Rraja who was taken into custody after his former girlfriend reported him of violence, rape and stalking. Nuhu said MP Rraja’s brother held a gun to his head when he tried to call the Prosecutor of Krujë to tell her about what was happening in his office an later they left with the boy.

Members of police and also of the Internal Affairs have disclosed that immediately after the crime was publicized last July, Taulant Balla, head of the Socialist parliamentary group, asked the Director General of State Police Ardi Veliu to take measures and eliminate any evidence of his involvement in what happened in the police station of Fushë Krujë.

Per Veliu’s order, the director of Durrës Police Department, Alfred Çepe, created a task force to find and erase any footage that might prove the presence of Taulant Balla, Rrahman Rraja, and Artur Bushi in the police station of Fushë Krujë on July 21.

The task force charged with erasing footage of the security cameras of local businesses have threatened – with the help of taxation officers and armed thugs of the area – anyone who refused to cooperate for the destruction of evidence.

Police members and from the Internal Affairs have said that Director Çepe has been personally engaged in the operation of erasing evidence that implicate Balla, Bushi and Rraja in the incident with vice commissar Emiljano Nuhu.
