The Socialist MP Rrahman Rrahja has denied allegations against him by Emiljano Nuhu, former vice commissar of the police station of Fushë Krujë. In an interview yesterday, Nuhu said the MP’s son was detained for rape, but the deputy, his brother, Mayor of Krujë and chairman of the Socialist parliamentary group Taulant Balla took the young man from the police station while the deputy’s brother held a gun to the officer’s head.

Rrahja responded to allegations saying in an interview with the daily Panorama he has never met Nuhu and rejected the accusations to his son as inventions. He said there was a denouncement by a girl who used to date his son, but broke up. Pushed by jealousy, the girl made the denouncement which she withdrew later.

Rrahja also denied allegations he was in the police station with his brother and the other persons Nuhu said.
