The Democratic Party (PD) has denounced today Edi Rama’s government that through a corruptive and unnecessary bid has monopolized the control of business billing, increasing the costs with €600-1000 per business.

Democrat deputies Jorida Tabaku and Endri Hasa said the damage done to business through this tender goes up to €100 million.

The government has opened a €15 million-worth tender for the monitoring of the taxation system which includes a wide range of elements, the VAT concession among them. This is a system almost identical with that of monitoring the sport bets shops, controlled by the partners of Olsi Rama, Edi Rama’s brother.

The corruptive tender of €15 million cause a damage of €80-100 million to business. It takes out of the circulation the fiscal cases and makes the businesses to buy new devices for the new system.

The Democrat deputies said the new tender will be the killer of thousands of jobs in Albania and will lead thousands of firms to bankruptcy.
