The Democratic Party (PD) and its allies are considering the sequestration of assets of the companies that have earned corruptive tenders from Edi Rama’s government when they come to power.

The new initiative comes in the framework of the platform presented by PD with the aim of breaking the politics links to crime and is prompted by the many concessions and favours the Albanian government has given to a number of selected companies.

Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha introduced the initiative in the joint meeting with the opposition allies in Vlorë, boycotting again the parliament session, saying Rama is taken hostage by the criminals.

“We will consider today the sequestration of all asses of all the companies and individuals that have signed corruptive contracts, Private-Public Partnerships, tenders and concessions with Rama and his pack of thieves”, Basha said.
