The Democratic Party (PD) and the Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity (PDIU) have reached a cooperation agreement following a meeting between their chairmen, Lulzim Basha and Shpëtim Idrizi. The two leaders met for an hour in the presence of former president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Riccardo Migliori.

The agreement means PDIU will join the opposition led by Basha’s PD.

“I’d like to welcome PDIU in the front of the united opposition”, Basha said after the meeting at hotel Rogner. “The talks with PDIU were successful, aiming t serve the citizens. PD and the united opposition have a vital mission for every Albanian family today: Give an end to the co-governance with crime, remove the alliance of the power with crime”.
