Democratic Party deputies Jorida Tabaku and Enkelejd Alibeaj have revealed shocking facts that prove the links of Premier Edi Rama and Interior Minister Fatmir Xhafaj to the gambling business through their respective brothers, Olsi Rama and Agron Xhafaj.
The deputies told a press conference that the gambling company ITGSA, the most known in the gambling market with the betting companies Ecobet and Eurolive, is registered in the name of brothers Besnik and Gramoz Murataj, close accomplice to Xhafaj’s brother, Agron, sentenced just like him in Italy.
Alibeaj said the Murataj brothers are just a cover for the real ownership of Agron Xhafaj on the gambling business.
Deputy Tabaku said Muratajs have been sentenced by an Italian court as members of the criminal organization of Agron Xhafaj, sentenced for international drugs traffic.
From 2015 to 2018, in Agron Xhafaj’s ownership and protected by his minister brother, Ecobet and Eurolive have multiplied their business activity in the gambling market, opening 2176 new betting shops.
