Albanian Premier Edi Rama has ordered the initiation of a wide operation of selling or leasing everything that has been left from public assets.

There are 1913 state-owned that will be given in tenders by the Ministry of Finances.

All the objects have been shown in the Ministry’s page on internet. The majority is for sale, while the rest for leasing.

The objects are former state-owned plants, factories, warehouses, and other buildings from the time of communist regime, as well as a considerable number of former military facilities.

The income from sales and leasing of the state assets will go to the account of the Agency for the Management of Property as a compensation fund for former owners.
