Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha said the opposition’s initiative for the politicians vetting has been inspired by the high interest of the citizens.
Basha told members of the Democrat parliamentary group today that the majority of the citizens support the obligatory vetting process for the corrupt and crime-linked politicians and high officials.
“Albanians want the vetting in politics to happen”, Basha said today. “Albanians want to have no more criminals and politicians with links to crime in the parliament and government. I have received thousands of messages from people that support us to go on till the end of the process. We have the support of the society. Albanians require the separation of politics from crime for good”.
