Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha said his party backs the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo about borders, but added Kosovo’s sovereignty must remain untouched.

“Kosovo’s sovereignty is in the Kosovo’s people hands and it has been sanctioned by the Ahtisaari Plan and recognized by 111 countries with the mutual borders”, Basha told media reporters today.

“Ahtisaari Plan leaves no room for dilemmas and it is a foundation for peace and stability in the region. We back every effort for dialogue in Kosovo, but by supporting Kosovo’s sovereignty and territorial integrity”.
