The Democratic Party (PD) showed today how the State’s Budget has been put into the service of drugs traffickers. Head of the PD parliamentary group Edmond Spaho put into media’s disposal documents on Edmong Bego, the Albanian businessman arrested in Greece recently, former member of a dangerous gang and a crony of the Socialist deputy Taulant Balla.
"Taulant Balla’s criminal”, as Spaho dubbed the man who has been sentenced with 21 years in Italy for drugs traffic, recently has won a bid worth 100 million Albanian Leks from OST, the state-owned Transmission System Operator.
"The official data show the company Inerte Express, owned by the drugs trafficker and Balla’s family friend, has no experience in the construction of power substations and they added this function only in the end of December 2017”, Spaho said. “A few months later, the inexperienced company of Taulant Balla’s pal won a public bid from OST, in the heart of Balla’s electoral zone in Librazhd”.
