Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha responded to US Ambassador Donald Lu who criticized the Albanian police today for its failure to seize “the big fish”. Mr. Lu made his remarks in an event where he was in the company of Premier Edi Rama and Interior Minister Fatmir Xhafaj.

Addressing to the US Ambassador, Basha said the big stay by his side at any official reception.

“In the ocean? Do not lie yourselves messieurs ambassadors because the Albanians cannot be lied to anymore. The big fish stay by your side at any official reception and in the government’s platform here in the parliament”, Basha said today.

“Edi Rama chose crime over Albania and he cannot leave its circle today. He is not merely a corrupt and incriminated Balkanic politician, he is a politician that is seized and controlled totally by the crime. Albania needs hug changes. The first one and the beginning of all changes must be the removal of Edi Rama and his criminal regime”.
