Democrat deputy Ervin Salianji accused the Prosecution Office of “covering the criminal track” of the Interior Minister Fatmir Xhafaj’s brother Agron.

“Agron Xhafaj left Albania to avoid testifying and telling his crimes”, Salianji told media reporters after testifying in the Prosecution Office for the Serious Crimes about the wiretap he made public a few days ago, where Agron Xhafaj was listened talking about drug traffic.

“There is a public statement of the journalist that brought me parts of the wiretapping. Some declarations are an investigative secret”.

“We do not trust the Prosecution Office because it is 100% at the government’s disposal, but we did not reject our obligation before law to go to the Prosecution Office”.
