Albanian media spread the news of the Socialist deputy Taulant Balla saving the life of a citizen that was hit by a car in Elbasan, but there are eyewitnesses that say it was quite the opposite. According to them, it was Balla the one who caused the accident, while the police and media near the government have tried to hide the mishap.

Former Premier Sali Berisha denounced the happening on his Facebook page, saying the “lads of crime are doing everything to hide the crime”.

“Deputy Taulant Balla was involved in a road accident in Elbasan. All the power hounds hurried to arrange all the papers to make possible for Balla to seem innocent instead of showing interest for the victim. The media are deceiving the public like Balla helped someone else’s victim”, Berisha wrote.
