Lulzim Basha, the leader of the Albanian opposition has gathered thee Commission of Civil Emergences in Shkodër, along with Mayor of Shkodër Voltana Ademi. The chairman of the Democratic Party listened attentively to Ademi’s report on the serious situation in the northern municipality due to torrential rains and floods. He is the only high-profile politician that has been near to the local power while the government is refusing to declare the state of emergency.

The Municipality of Shkodër has been under water for three weeks now with heavy damages in the local economy.
