Former Premier Sali Berisha linked Premier Edi Rama and his brother Olsi Rama directly to the 613 kilos of cocaine seized in Albania on February 28. According to the former Prime Minister and President of Albania, “the drug was an order for Olsi and the Rama clan, and it was marked since Colombia”.

“The cocaine that came from Colombia is the biggest quantity ever that has reached the Balkans, it was addressed directly to Olsi Rama and the Rama clan. It was marked by the Colombian authorities, reached in Italian harbors and came to Albania on February 18”, Berisha said in the parliament.

“Olsi Rama has passed the border five times with the car modified drugs smuggling full of cocaine. (Interior Minister) Fatmir Xhafaj destroyed the evidence. In the morning he declared the operation was carried out in cooperation with the international partners, later he said it was only the Albanian police and customs. Rama lied when he said it was an Albanian police operation. Why did he say that? He wanted to tell he is not the clan of drugs”.
