Democrat MP Enkelejd Alibeaj has request an expert analysis of the situation after the election of the temporary General Prosecutor Arta Marku. Alibeaj made his request in a joint meeting of the parliamentary Commission of Laws and the Council of the Parliament Legislation.
He insisted on regulating the law on the election of the prosecutor, and the election of another General Prosecutor, saying Marku was elected without the vetting process.
Socialist MP Ulsi Manja defended the position of his party, saying everything was made based on the laws.
