The Special Court of Appellation confirmed the prison arrest for Fredi Beleri, the new Mayor of Himara, who was arrested two days before the mayoral elections of May 14 with the accuse of buying votes.

Pandeli Kokavesh, who was arrested with Beleri, will be trialed free.

Beleri was not present at the session and was represented with a special power of attorney.
