President of the Albanian Football Association Armand Duka had received a threatening SMS on his phone two days before a quantity of TNT exploded at his house gate on Monday evening.

Duka said the explosion did not cause any casualty and serious damage to the house. He also showed a SMS he had received, threatening him with 60 bullets if he continued to run in the FA president’s race.

“You play with double standards, you bitch play with our money, step down within 24 hours or you’ll take 60 bullets to your head, you bitch because this promise is irrevocable”, said the SMS.

Duka said he wanted to respond “one bullet would be enough”, but the SMS wouldn’t go.

“The SMS was from a number that was used only once and it was charged in a shop in Durrës”, Duka said, adding he made some investigation himself and managed to discover the person that had sent the SMS: “His name is Sabian Rrapushi. I did not report it to the police because I had no hope police would do anything”.
