The coronavirus is wreaking havoc in the schools of the Albanian capital Tirana, with hundreds of teachers and pupils in quarantine after being infected.

Syri.net has found out numbers of infections in many schools of Tirana, but the figures are kept hidden by the government, fearing the reaction of the rest of the teaching staff, pupils, and their families.

Many teachers and pupils are confirmed to be positive with Covid-19, whereas others are in lockdown at their homes, waiting for the results of the tests.
