Five hospitalized patients have lost their lives due to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, said the Albanian ministry of health.

Meanwhile, 153 new cases have been reported for the same period out of 836 tests. The total number since the start of the pandemic has risen to 1227, 6888 of which have fully recovered.

Tirana continues to have the highest number of the active persons, 2444, followed by Shkodra with 373.
