The Albanian Ministry of Health has reported 79 new coronavirus cases and three deaths in the last 24 hours. One of the deceased was a 56 year old man from Tirana, the two others were 76 and 90, from Tirana and Elbasan respectively.

The Ministry said 500 tests have been taken in the last 24 hours, resulting with 79 infected with the virus. The capital Tirana has 56 of the new cases, followed by Shkodra and Kruja with six each.

69 patients have recovered, bringing the total to 2952.
