The coronavirus situation seems to be going out of control in Albania as the Ministry of Health has reported 93 new cases out of 420 tests (bringing the total to 3371), and four deaths in the last 24 hours, with 89 victims since the beginning of the pandemic. The latest number sets a new record in the daily infections.

Currently 72 infected persons are hospitalized, with eight in intensive care and four intubated in critical conditions.

Six patients have recovered, bringing the total to 1881. There are 1401 persons positive with coronavirus, with the capital Tirana having the most cases, 591, followed by Durrës with 229, and Shkodra with 178.
